Edurne was born in Madrid, Spain on December 22, 1985. Edurne García Almagro better known as Edurne is a Spanish pop singer. She came sixth in the fourth edition of the Spanish television series Operación Triunfo in 2005. Soraya Arnelas appeared in the same series.

"Edurne" is Edurne's debut album, and has 12 tracks. It mixes many different rhythms and styles, including "Amores Dormidos", a song composed for Edurne by the popular Spanish pop group La Oreja De Van Gogh. In the re-release of the Edurne's debut album included "Te Falta Veneno", the theme song for "Yo Soy Bea" (Spanish adaptation of the Colombian soap opera "Betty La Fea" aired byTelecinco) and 2 remixes from her debut single "Despierta".
