At the age of six she had her first musical solo achievement in various Performances and examinations at the music school in Spittal/Drau, Austria.
On the initiative of her parents she applied and took part at the supermodel contest "Super model of the year 1996" in Vienna.
She won the contest and was all of a sudden the super model of the year 1996. On top of this she won also the photo shooting which was sponsored by Heine.
This was her break through and the Start of a career as model.
Melanie represented Austria at the super model of the year world finale in Miami, one year later and obtained a remarkable 4th place as best european model.
Since then the door to the world of super modeis opened up for her
Fashion metropole like New York, Paris, London, Milan or Tokyo became her second home. There she feels as comfortable as being at homne in Spittal a.d. Drau.
